TUTTA LA VITA DAVANTI
by Paolo Virzì
synopsis
The trials and tribulations of a recent university graduate in the world of temporary employment. Educated, inquisitive, soft-spoken Marta finds work at a phone center marketing a futuristic home appliance. In this bizarre new world she must deal with teeny-bopper telephone operators, psyched-up salesmen, motivational dances, corporate jingles, bonuses, applause and self-inflicted group punishments. A delightfully biting, comic look at contemporary society, seen through the curious, amused, astonished eyes of a young lady philosopher.
