Last lap on the shoot for Je vais Bien, ne t'en fais pas by Philippe Lioret which picks up again today in Paris till 22nd December. In the cast for the 5th feature by the filmmaker who seduced 685 000 French spectators in 2001 with Mademoiselle and 700 000 with L'Equipier (see the news) at the end of 2004, are Mélanie Laurent, Julien Boisselier, Isabelle Renauld, Kad Mérad and Aïssa Maiga. Adaptation of a successful novel by Olivier Adam (co-writer of the film with the director), Je vais Bien, ne t'en fais pas explores the difficulties of rights to passage through the character of Lili (Mélanie Laurent), 19 years old. Returning from holiday, the young girl learns that Loïc, her twin brother (Julien Boisselier), has quit the house after a violent dispute with their father. The weeks pass with no news and Lili is so concerned that she lets herself go. Refusing to eat, she is hospitalised when a letter arrives from her brother. Living off small jobs, he judges their father responsible for their little lives and renounces him forever. Reassured, Lili recovers, leaves hospital and sets out to find Loïc. What she discovers is beyond her understanding and will make a woman of her.

Produced by Christophe Rossignon (read the interview for Nord-Ouest Production), Je vais Bien, ne t'en fais pas had a budget of around 4,7 million euros including a co-production with Fin Août Production, France 3 Cinéma and StudioCanal who also have theatrical rights, video and international sales. The French release will be by Mars Distribution in the second semester of 2006.
