synopsis
Matilda escaped prison. Her child is something she should take care of first, and in all her desperate attempts to find a better life for him, she rediscovers the feeling of being a mother. His rescue becomes a struggle not only of liberation from the family who rejected her, or from her ex-pimp, the kid's father, but a struggle of coming at peace with her conscience.
