THE BIG CAT

by Wolfgang Panzer

synopsis

Kater, the President of Switzerland, is about to receive the King and Queen of Spain at an official state dinner when he realizes that the man he believed to be his closest ally has plotted a wily intrigue to overthrow him. As Kater scrambles to keep up appearances for the reception’s rigid diplomatic protocol, it slowly dawns on him that his ruthless ascent to power has finally started to take its toll.
