GENTE DI ROMA

by Ettore Scola

synopsis

The official star of the film is Rome, shown in a collage of images, characters and stories… how it is today, how it was 10 years ago, how it will no longer be in another 10 years. From family businesses to dialects, from clothes to cooking in spare time, a collection of illustrations to make the unacceptable acceptable and show tragedy in a farcical way, making it light hearted.
