by

The Chambre Syndicale des Producteurs de Films (French Film Producers’ Union) has some news : last Thursday, the central committee nominated the members of the new bureau which is to manage the organisation for a year. Jean-François Lepetit (Flach Films) who remains the president of the Union, will be assisted by four vice-presidents: Jean Cazès (Initial Productions), Antoine de Clermont Tonnerre (Mact Productions), Alain Goldman (Légende), and Manuel Munz (Les Films Manuel Munz). We should also point out that the central committee of 26 members has been slightly renewed to now include Paolo Branco (Gemini Films), Edouard Weil (Rectangle Productions), as well as the work-partners Farid Lahouassa and Aïssa Djabri (Vertigo Production).

Furthermore, the organisation has just changed names from French Film Producers and Exporters’ Union to the above-mentioned, and it now has a website which offers its visitors a complete database including example contracts, newsletters, news on tax-relief, regional funds, VOD, and on the steps taken to prevent digital theft, reports by the CNC, the CSA (Censorship committee), and the European Audiovisual Observatory, analyses by the CSPF itself, as well as a financial database on films produced in the last four years.
