Produced by Fabula (the Larrain brothers' company), Gloria is the third feature film by this filmmaker revealed in 2005 with La Sagrada Familia. Co-produced with the Spanish company Nephilim Producciones, the film features Paulina García and Sergio Hernández. The screenplay traces the misfortunes of a 58 year-old divorcee whose children have left home, but who is determined not to spend her life alone. On her hunt for unmarried men, she goes from one disappointment to another until the day she meets a former naval officer, seven years her senior. This romantic relationship will, however, reveal unexpected aspects which force Gloria to confront her own darkest secrets.

It's worth noting that Funny Balloons already handled the sales of the director's previous film (L’année du Tigre - in competition in Lugarno in 2011) and that the French company is expected to make more announcements in Berlin.
