synopsis
The writer Ernest Ripper is contacted by a mysterious admirer. Joseph Arcimboldo says that he is guilty of the murder of a young blonde woman that took place in the XVIII arrondissement of Paris. He suggests that Ernest write his criminal biography. They meet frequently, establishing an ambiguous and dangerous relationship. The novel is finished and is about to be delivered to the editor when Joseph lays claim to the authorship.
