Hubert Jacquin, recently widowed, lives a lonely life in his spacious apartment. In an unexpected twist of circumstances, he finds himself offering a room to Manuela, a young student looking for share accommodation. A veritable whirlwind, Manuela convinces Hubert to look for more roommates, and Marion, an uptight nurse, and Paul-Gérard, a soon-to-be divorced lawyer, move in.
